Set in a beautiful valley just a couple
of kilometres to the south of the city of Lourdes, this lovely old
house
played a key role in the history of the holy shrine: built by the
village
doctor who fostered Bishop Laurence, the same who 'proved' Bernadette's
miracles ("We judge that Mary Immaculate, Mother of God, really
appeared
to Bernadette on the 11th February, 1858 ..." Monsignor Laurence,
Bishop
of Tarbes, Jan. 18, 1862).
There are four guest rooms, 3 doubles
and
a room with a double and a single bed: each has its own bath or shower
and toilet.
Guests are invited
to relax in the pretty garden to the rear of the house.

Continental breakfast, served in the old dining room, is included in the basic tariff .
Arlette, your welcoming hostess, keeps
house
and cooks beautifully (dinner is 20 to 28 euros according to menu
including
wine and coffee per person paid locally, please ensure that 24 hours
notice
is given); her husband Robert will take you rambling and fishing for
trout
in the mountain streams.

Open all year: children welcome: no smoking in rooms: English spoken.
