A short stroll from the front door will take you into the heart of Pezenas with its labyrinth of cobbled streets and historic buildings, housing artists' studios, antique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. During the summer months the little town and its surrounding villages are a hive of activity with different festivals, markets and exhibitions. Pezenas is also ideally located for exploring this beautiful part of France. Montpellier is only 45 minutes away, whilst the Mediterranean beaches are a 20 minute car drive through the Herault countryside. Each day offers a different experience, from wine tasting or visiting medieval towns and villages to swimming in crystal clear lakes and rivers. The Languedoc region enjoys one of the best climates in the South of France with 300 days of sunshine per year. |
