 La Ferme is a carefully restored 17th century farmhouse, set in ten acres of grassland at the end of a country lane in complete tranquility.
 
At the southern end of the Cherbourg (Cotentin) peninsular not far from Saint Lo, it is just over an hour from the ports at Cherbourg and Caen, and within 25 minutes of the beautiful west Manche coast, a little further from Mont Saint Michel, and 50 minutes from the Normandy Invasion beaches. Bayeux and the north coast of Normandy are all within similar easy reach.
Accommodations: There are 3 guest bedrooms comfortably furnished in French rural style: one double bedroom and two with twin single beds, each with ensuite shower-room 

All bedrooms are south facing with views over the garden and fields and have tea and coffee making facilities.  The thick walls keep the old house cool in summer and the geothermic heating and huge log fire make it very cosy in winter.

Travel cot available on request.

The salon is for the exclusive use of the guests for meals and to
relax in comfortable chairs by the fire.

In the country garden the two friendly donkeys will be delighted to have a chat. If you feel energetic, country walks begin at the front gate and bicycles are available to hire at a minimal cost.






Continental breakfast is included in our basic tariff and evening meals, ordered 24 hours in advance are prepared using local produce whenever possible - home laid eggs and vegetables from your hosts' extensive vegetable garden - 4 courses with half a bottle of wine 20 euros, 2 courses with a glass of wine 12 euros (paid locally to your hosts). Lunches and picnics by arrangement. Vegetarians are catered for with adequate notice.
