Immaculately manicured but in a thoroughly charming and typically French way, this 11th century farmhouse was modernised in the first year of the 19th century! Now it provides exceptionally comfortable and accommodation in a traditional colourful Norman style. The house stands in quiet countryside in a beautifully kept courtyard garden, surrounded by open fields (the campsite that the owners run in a field nearby is not to be seen from the house, nor does it cause any intrusion). Just a short distance from Bayeux and Omaha beaches, also a very convenient short break location using Caen as your ferry port.

There are 4 guest bedrooms:
La Verte: a large double room with shower and toilet en-suite: well suited to guests that have any difficulty with stairs. Views across the lawn to open fields.
La Rose: A large double room that also has a double futon for children or another couple and a shower room en-suite with toilet. Views across the lawn to open fields.
Ecossaise and La Blanche: the space at the top of the house can either be taken as a whole by up to 6 persons or as 2 separate bedrooms:
Ecossaise has a double bed and a double futon in a space that is separate from the main bedroom - there is a small shower room and toilet under the eaves.
La Blanche is a large double room with en-suite shower and toilet.
The two rooms share a small gallery salon.

Breakfast included in our basic tariff and dinner (19E per person including drinks paid locally) are served by your English speaking hosts in the elegant dining room - excellent Norman cuisine should not be missed. There are restaurants within a couple of kilometres where one can dine in style for a very reasonable price - of course the seafood is a speciality and the local cider and Calvados are the indigenous tipples. Sailing, golf and country and coastal walking and horse riding are all accessible in the immediate vicinity and you are only 15 minutes drive from Omaha Beach, where the American Forces landed in 1945.
