A chance to stay in a fine 17th century chateau which has been in the ownership of the same family for 5 generations - the building was badly damaged during the first World War and restored during the 20's.
The chateau is quietly located next to the village of Nanteuil-la-Fosse between Laon (the "Crowned City") and Soissons, not much more than 90 minutes drive from Calais and a little over the hour from eastern Paris. An ideal place for a short break in the French countryside or as a base from which to explore Paris, EuroDisney and Champagne.
Accommodations:
A guest suite with a huge bedroom in the
octagonal tower which had been added to the chateau during the 1840's with
private bath and toilet plus a small room with single beds for children
across the corridor. There are extensive grounds and gardens to enjoy -
also a swimming pool during summer months.
Continental breakfast, which is served
in the beautiful old orangery is included in the standard tariff: dinner
can also be taken there so long as advance notice is given at about 20
euros per person including wine.

Country walks commence at the gate.
