This extraordinary little chateau lies halfway between Dieppe and Fécamp, in the countryside, yet not far from the spectacular coastline between Dieppe and St Valery-en-Caux: this region, full of contrasts, will seduce you with it's natural beauty and the constantly changing light which so enchanted the Impressionists. Daniel and Virginie's lovely old house, a small chateau in a park shaded by grand old trees, is adjacent to a small village. The popular seaside resort of Veules les Roses is only 5 minutes drive away, Dieppe 20 minutes, Etretat 30 minutes and Rouen 40 minutes. The house, an elegant hunting lodge for its upper crust original owners was built in 1864 and has been completely restored by the current owners, a Franco-American family, who fell in love with the area: you can share this haven of peace and relaxation with them. Visit the nearby beaches and cliffs, swimming pool and golf at Dieppe, and cinema and casino in St Valéry.

Accommodations: The guest rooms are carefully restored and tastefully decorated, accommodating up to ten guests in five bedrooms on two floors - 2 have double beds and the others have zip up twin beds that can be either two full size singles or a king size double. The rooms are each named after a flower in keeping with the atmosphere of the house and garden. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom or shower room with toilet and each has a view of the garden, the lawn or the tennis court.     Relax also in the baronial living room with open fireplace and decked with mother's very accomplished landscapes or enjoy the tranquil splendour of the music room with its antique furniture, grand piano and soft light.

Other Details: Buffet breakfast, included in the basic tariff, is served in the adjoining dining room. Other meals and snacks can be found at the local auberge in the village within easy walking distance - highly recommended. Daniel's brother will often agree to play classical guitar while you relax.
