Way up in the Limousin heights to the north east of Limoges, France's principal pottery city, you will find Lorenzo's lovingly cared for alpine chalet: his devotion to natural materials is admirable if a little eccentric: the surroundings are magnificent - the house is perched above a meadow with a lake surrounded by woods at its foot.
The bedrooms (2 doubles with balcony and 1 twin x 2) are charming in a woody way - all have en-suite bath/shower and toilet. If you like a firm bed then this is the place for you.
Continental breakfast is included in the basic tariff and dinner (which errs towards vegitarian cuisine and is reasonably priced) can be ordered with at least 24 hours prior notice.
