Karen's Cafe

Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne - mid Dordogne Valley

DO23

At the centre of the beautiful old medieval market town of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Karen and Craig have created 3 beautiful guest bedrooms over their little restaurant: from here you can walk the narrow streets to the river bank, to a wide choice of good restaurants, to the weekly market and to the 13th century church.

Surrounding the town are spectacular rolling hills above the twin river valleys of the Ceze and Dordogne and some of the most beautiful medieval villages in all France - Collonges-la-Rouge, Turenne, Curemonte, Carennac to name but a few.

.

Accommodations:

The accommodations are of the highest standard, character and style: the 3 bedrooms are beautifully and individually appointed, each with its own shower or bathroom..

The rooms are on the first floor over the restaurant below but  this will not cause any disturbance as it is only open during the daytime: of course, this is a roadside location so one must accept some degree of traffic noise if you decide to leave your double glazed windows open at night.

Other Details:

Continental breakfast is included in the very reasonable tariff and for a small additional sum Craig will cook a full Scottish breakfast if you feel really hungry. Dinner can be found at any one of several very good restaurants in the town, all within easy walking distance.
