Your hosts are keen students of regional history and will be delighted to advise you on your explorations of the area. For sport, shopping and visits to the distilleries, the river (5 kms), the towns of Saintes (15 kms) and Cognac (12 kms), offer a varied choice in the immediate vicinity. |
| Accommodations: There are two bedrooms for guests:
“La Borderie” on the theme of the vine and “La Marine” on the theme of
ocean. La Borderie is on the ground floor and has an independent entrance. Large and comfortable, there is plenty of room to relax, a double bed and the possibility of adding a single bed for a third person. La Marine is on the first floor. Very large, it is ideal for families (up to 4 persons). There is a double bed (140 x 190) plus two single beds ( 90 x 190) For each bedroom there is a private bathroom and separate toilet. There are lots of books, games, guides and tourist leaflets, which you can consult in the living room reserved for the guests. |

Continental breakfast with homemade pastries and jams, served on the terrace in good weather, is included in the basic tariff. For other meals, there are many restaurants or country inns or you can also ask your hosts to prepare picnic baskets for days out in the countryside or a simple family meal in the evening. Picnic baskets can be provided at 6 euros per person. Simple evening meals on request (12 euros) - please give at least 24 hours notice if you wish to eat in-house on the evening of arrival.
