Set in a peaceful park surrounded by trees and palms,
and just a few steps away from the Finistere coastal pathways
this lovely old maison de maitre, built in the 1920's for a wealthy
local businessman and politician, provides comfortable and charming
accommodations. Inside the house, wood is everywhere, walls, staircases
and floors: the floor boards were taken from ancient tall-ship decks
for their beauty and quality. In the garden, the area's microclimate
encourages a sub tropical vegetation: mimosas, palm trees, bamboos,
magnolias etc. Located between Brest and Quimper, this is the ideal place to discover the Finistere countyside and its wonderful rugged coastline. A very large range of attractions are less than a hour from the mansion: the Armorique National Park, Océanopolis (aquarium), old village squares, the Monts Noirs and d'Arrée, Brest, Quimper, Le Faou, the Crozon peninsula. And closer to home, the Logonna-Daoulas' peninsula offers one of the richest natural and cultural heritages: Rosmorduc’s castle, many manor houses, Saint-Monna’s church, the twelve apostles cross, Moulin Mer, the Bendy Islands. |

room:. The Rosmorduc Suite has two big private rooms plus an en-suite bathroom. The large master bedroom is very sunny and faces south looking out onto the palm grove. It has a super king size double bed of 160cm x 200cm. The private lounge is very cosy and elegant. It has large leather easy chairs and a fireplace. It can also be used as a second bedroom (on request). The Roz Suite has two big rooms plus an en-suite bathroom its bedroom also looks over the palm grove. It has two beds of 90cm width. The private lounge is very cosy and elegantwith large leather easy chairs and a fireplace. The room is about 25m² (82sq ft) big. It can also be used as a second bedroom (on request). The spacious Kersanton Bedroom is very sunny with views of the garden It has two single beds of 90cm width and a private en-suite bathroom. The spacious Saint Monna Bedroom has a large king size double bed of 160cm and a private en-suite bathroom. The Ruliver Room has a double bed of 140cm and a large private en-suite bathroom |

A generous continental breakfast (included in the basic tariff) is served every morning free in the dining room overlooking the garden. Depending on the season it includes: fresh fruit salad, cereals, fruit juice, yogurt, fresh bread, pastries, jams, homemade cakes, tea, coffee, hot chocolate. The local village has two ports (Pors Plage and Moulin Mer) and many creeks and strands: the ‘Bendy’, the grey island, the castle, ‘Porsisquin, ‘anse du bourg’, Roz cove, the ‘Yelen’… All these places are linked by an 18km (11 miles) coastal path starting a few metres away from the Domain. |
