Just outside the medieval city of Josselin on its south side (within walking distance at 500 metres),Chez Jean is a large, modern house providing fairly simple but comfortable bedrooms,all having private bath or shower and toilet. There are panoramic views of the medieval castle and the Oust Valley. The basic tariff includes continental breakfast and all taxes: dinner is not served in house but there are plenty of restaurants in Josselin to choose from. The property is surrounded by private grounds which are shaded by large trees.

Please make your reservations early for Josselin's Medieval Fair which commences during mid-July.
Accommodations:

There are 4 guest rooms:

Jean-Marie: A large room with two single beds, an en-suite bathroom with tub, basin and toilet.

Isabelle: A smaller room with double bed, small bath, basin and toilet.

Marianne: A double room of similar size with private shower room and toilet.

Familiale: A large room with a double and two single beds and private shower room and toilet.

In 3 rooms an additional single beds can be added.

 

Other Details:

Continental breakfast is served at a communal table in the dining room consisting of baguettes, croissants and brioches accompagnied by home made preserves and hot drinks including coffee, tea or hot-chocolate - on occasion you may also be offered fresh-made crepes.

Parking is off-road . 

Open June 1st to September 10 each year and other periods by special arrangement.
