The situation in the countryside near the ancient south Brittany village of Pluvigner is truly secluded - here, you are surrounded by rolling green fields, the silence only interrupted by the occasional sounds of agriculture (and your fellow guests). The old town of Auray lies 8 miles to the south and the seashore and fields full of prehistoric standing stones (menhirs or dolmen) at Carnac and the glittering yacht haven of La Trinite a further 10 miles. |
| Accommodations:
There are 3 double bedrooms, each with their own shower and toilet, and 2 other double bedrooms, which share a further shower and toilet. The accommodations are fairly simple but comfortable, very much in contrast to the extraordinary ornate dining room where breakfast is served. A lovely lawned garden, shaded by old trees, leading down to a lake is at your disposal - fishing is possible. There is also a TV room (fairly basic) with facilities provided for making hot drinks. There is also a self-cateriing gite at the end of the farmhouse which is available on a weekly Saturday to Saturday basis.
