A beautiful 19th century stone-built farmhouse, a mini-manoir, typical of the Gironde area, situated near a small village 10 minutes to the east of St Emilion in the Cote de Castillon. The area is just an ocean of vineyards. Ideal location for country walking, touring the vineyards or simply for relaxing on the terrace beside the large swimming pool.

Accommodations:Three double bedrooms plus a family suite, each with private bath or shower room and toilet - the style and comfort is absolutely impeccable - this is a totally beautiful place to stay - strongly recommended! 1. La Glycene Decorated in gentle shades of blue and provided with a king size canopy bed, there are easy chairs and sofa, a coffee table, a desk and antique wardrobe. Italian style shower room and separate toilet. 2. La Coquelicot A slightly smaller room but still of spacious dimensions on the ground floor with direct access from the garden and  with a spacious shower room and separate toilet. Teak dressing table, antique wardrobe and a sitting area looking out on the garden. 3. Les Lilas A lovely country style room on the first floor, king size double bed, day bed, antique wardrobe. Italian style shower room and separate toilet. 4. Pivoine Suite (see below) On the first floor a family suite with double bedroom, a 1930's style lounge area also with a marble top desk. To one side a small bedroom under the roof space with a standard size double bed. Large bathroom with bath, shower and twin basins: separate toilet. There is a children's bunk room which can be attached to Les Lilas or La Pivoine to provide additional space for a larger family. You are invited to enjoy the large garden with small swimming pool and the guest sitting room. La Pivoine

Continental breakfast  is included in our basic tariff.  Dinner is served in house 3 times a week (at additional cost) so long as prior notice of at least 24 hours is given. Although your hostess does not speak good English she speaks enough to understand and be understood, and she goes to great lengths to respond to guests' questions and needs with charm and good humour. Open all year Off-road parking Children welcome Pet cats on the premises - not allowed officially in guest rooms but their exclusion cannot be guaranteed!
