At the time, it was one of the best bourgeois crus of the Côtes de Bourg and today it remains at the forefront of the new generation of Bordeaux vineyards. Bourg and Blaye, located on the Gironde river estuary, are some of Bordeaux' most ancient wine producing areas and the countryside with gentle, rolling hills is somewhat prettier than very flat Medoc on the opposite side of the river. Philippe, Valerie, who speak good English, and their three children will welcome you warmly. They delight in showing how they make great wine. |
